No sign of any Klingon Leaders

Now in the 2370s as the Klingons, was never offered a chance to recruit the unique Klingon leaders like Gowron, Lursa, Martok, and Kahless. Are they no longer in the game or is this a bug?

I got them in my Klingon play through about a month ago. I doubt there was a patch of any kind in the past month.

How quickly did you get them? There were no Klingon leaders offered for me as of 2370

I recall I was stuck at 8/10 minors assimilated on that one with no minors left so I had to run the time clock out. I am pretty sure I had an offer to "hire" at least one of the named leaders prior to 2370. The whole mechanic is a bit misleading. When you are offered a leader the text makes it sound like you can turn them down at that juncture and they will be offered in the future. Not true, if you do not recruit them immediately then they are never offered again. this is why is particularly frustrating when you are offered a new leader right after you have taken a new aspect for your nation under one of the 7 trees and have no unity on hand to "pay" for these named leaders.

I've always had Gowron and the Duras Sisters before the Romulan Supernova, and usually have Martok and/or Kahless by then too. I think 2393 is the latest I've ever completed the set of iconic Klingon leaders.

If memory serves, Gowron usually pops up in the early 2360s, with the Duras Sisters appearing 5 or 6 years later (B'Etor first, then Lursa a couple of months later). Kahless tends to be 5-10 years after that, then another 5-10 before Martok

Edit: Ok, started another Klingon run today. Got B'Etor in April 2370, Lursa in May 2371, and Gowron in June 2372. I had Kahless and Grilka before 2380, Kell in the early 2380s, then Martok in July 2390 (just after the Romulan supernova, which never seems to actually happen in 2387 like the movie says it does ;) )

Game runs 300 year to victory year, so the like 6-7 klingon leaders apear within this timeframe, not at canon dates. Different leaders have different likelyhoods when they apear.

Do you use mods?

Starting Techs mod, but even before I was using that, I'd always get most of the iconic characters before Romulus went poof
