forever war??

I got involved in a war between the cardasians and a minor power. ive freed up the minor power and crushed the cardasians everywhere and everyone is at 100 war fatigue and yet the war has been going on for years and years.
Do wars sometimes get stuck? If so is there no way to end and pull out since i cant make peace and they seem to not be able to.

you gotta have a higher balance of power..have you taken every single system that Cardasia has? thats what i had to do in my war with them..they kept bringing in ships from outlying planets that had no settled planet..was crazy. Yeah think the system needs a little tweakin tbh also there is a mechanic in the mission log also with the minor wars..gotta select 1 of 3 options

If I have to take every single syste. They have I will never be finished. They are by far the biggest faction on the map. I don't have enough ships to cover their entire nation.

I do own about 10 of them and freed the little faction from their control but the minor nation started the war and won't sue for peace despite being 100% war farigue .

yeah so if your at war with him still..then your balance of power needs to be greater than 50 percent or at 50 for it too be over..you have to take more territory or build more ships.

ok i will see what i can do. wish i would have known that before i got involved against the biggest faction in the game

yeah the cardasians are stupid powerful. im using the cannon map mod which is awesome and the cardasians start out very small like i would have expected....yup took them like 15 minutes to become the biggest faction and lead in every catagory and pretty much run the galaxy. That was i got involved in the war because they was takinig over everything and i figured me the feds and the minor power could set them back. nope and this war will never end

Well I own every system in cardasian space. Haven't seen a enemy fleet for a while, I occupy every planet and still the war is going on for over a hour.
This must be a bug.

This is also happening to me, intervened in a war to save the Betazoids from Kardassians, taken every single one of there planets and it just wont end..... driving me crazy as I cant integrate other nations while at war

Sheesh and all my wars end way too fast. Wish I had the OPs problem. :)

This is happening to me right now... I am fighting the Cardassians as the Federation, to protect one of the minor powers. The Kilngons joined in, and we've taken over half of their territory. I also captured Cardassia Prime, but since it's a defensive war I intervened in, I have to keep waiting. In other Paradox games, the stronger power can take over as the leader of a war. It's a miss not to have that option in this game. And it's crazy that we've all reached war exhaustion, and the one time we actually want it to end, it won't. This is something that should be addressed, that is for sure.

Press the Tild key, type: play 01 or play 02 or play 03 (keep going up in number until you either get your minor or cardassians), issue Peace :D then do play 00 to go back to your original faction. This the only work around I have found.

Does the Canon Map mod add a dilithium mine to Coridan and Remus?
If not, why not?
