Coup Wars are FRUSTRATING
So, obviously I'm playing as the Klingons since I'm doing coup wars, but there is a mechanic that I can't find the answer for...

If the minor power has low stability, you can't integrate them. But there isn't a way (that I can see) of raising their stability so that you can integrate them. This means I'm waging several successive wars on these damn backwater sh**holes, to get them to submit to my Klingon Will. I only need to coup 4 more MPs, but that is turning into a really reptitive and boring chore...

EDIT: A second frustration is the Klingon mission tree - there is no way I can befriend the UFP or the Romulans, because they keep failing spying missions on me. Even though they feel neutral towards me, apparently I HATE them, and so cannot complete the mission tree.

BOOST: Can someone explain to me how I can raise the stability of minor powers, so that I can complete the last 4 coups, please?

The solution I have for the spy issue is to simply not do Counter Espionage. They're mostly doing Propaganda missions on your homeworld, so just do Counter propaganda with your spies.

I spammed all my envoys on the tricky ones and I think it worked...

Don't the envoys only improve relations with them though? The issue I'm having is that galactic tensions is always over 85%, so the stability hit is making these minor powers impossible to coup, because they lose too much stability.

to befriend them as the Klingons you need to change your policy for the galaxy, its near one of the edict options I believe.

Perhaps in my game galactic tensions dropped while I was fiddling around trying to get stuff to work and I didn't notice. I was probably the only one raising it anyway.
