But with fluid fleet movement and auto pause only if something happend.
Whatever, hope they take short turns like stellaris and not like Birth of the Fed. or Master of Orion.
Because a) you do not need to wait until the other player ended their turn, while b) its not as stressfull as a regular RTS like Armada or Starcraft. Based on Stellaris, its not about click speed, but about the decisions you make. Also you can change the pace/speed of the game, to your (and your friends) liking.
So it might just be the mix you like?
Some prefer to have these games at maximum speed so you'll see the time really fly, me on the other hand I always play on the next to slowest or normal speed. It's a lot of clicking and looking at UI menus too. If it helps, check out this IGN preview it's about 4 minutes long and you can kind of see how time moves by and such since it has actual in-game footage not just from the preview trailers.
