Technically in this time period the Klingons wiped them out. And it wasn't until time travel shenanigans on DS9 that the tribbles come back

I want Dominion, but i would prefer they would be somehow intertwined with Cardassians, i mean you would be able to build both Cardassian and JemHadar ships, since Dominion themselves had only 3 ship types (bugship, battlecruiser, battleship) and i am not particularly keen on ton of non-canon ships. I would like to recreate what was seen on the show, and thats fleets of bugships, hidekis, galors and jemmy battlecruisers.

Anyway, i wonder if they are not already in as part of that cardy tree. Or as NPC faction/end game crisis just like Borg probably are.

did you play Startrack Armada 1 and 2? Cardassia has a lot of own ships, its just it was never in the show, rather in games and comics.

I did play those games, and sure, there are some additional ships for Cardassia, but those are non-canon designs as well. As you said, those were not in the show, only in other media, but only what was on the show is canon.
