Can I play in this view as well?
On a somewhat related note I'm really hoping the planning screen eventually has an option to toggle full color/normal rendering view. Playing from the planning screen can be really fun and sometimes it's preferable to use instead of direct control when tight team micromanagement is necessary to complete complex, coordinated actions smoothly.
The planning screen IMO is the thing that most definitively sets this game apart from its inspirations and contemporaries. It greatly expands on and surpasses the similar planning feature in the classic GR/R6 games and no other comparable games since then afaik have even attempted to implement such a detailed method to direct AI teammates, let alone so many and in real time. It's partially possible to play BOBB like Doorkickers/Breach & Clear, it's a crazy powerful feature and tons of fun. But it being black and white really makes it feel like a sacrifice of visual enjoyment when using it for extended periods of time.
The bodycam is a step in the right direction for sure though. Those maps look cool too, I'm especially looking forward to that bunker map.
Certain mission types like defend and war are a mess. They throw too many enemies at the player with little reason, while spawning them in impossible places like behind an area that is a dead end.
