Couple Questions

1) Can we use night vision compatible optics (EOTech for example) with NVG? I swore I was able to before, but I'm stuck with using the IR laser. Is there a certain type of laser maybe?

2) Anyone have issues on some of the desert maps with falling through the maps? I've spent 30-40 minutes clearing the same map in campaign just for an operator to fall through the map and can't recover them. I reckon that staying more inside the perimeter of the map is a fix, but I am playing on the hardest difficulty and trying to be as safe as possible.

In the difficulty tab for the missions, there's a option for realistic aiming. Toggling it on will cause weapons to be aimed with the laser, when equipped, regardless of optics. Toggling it off will let you use most 1x optics normally. I don't think it applies to scopes, but I may be wrong.
As to your other question, I haven't experienced any falling through the maps myself, but I can't say I spend much time on the edges, so I'm not much help there.
