You can set any controller up through Steams built in configuration.

If someone was going to buy a controller emulator then it should be Pinnacle (which is dead so xpadder). It's the best by far. Still not nearly as good as native support

No that's controller emulation which we can do without steam.

It's not nearly as good as native xinput support and adding xinput support is very simple since it's part of direct x.

Native or bust.

would buy many more fps games on steam if they had full controller support

So did they ever add official support for this?

How about now lol? I don't mind controller with some functions in keyboard

Just checking in instead of making a new topic...

I have 11 people sitting here with me and they are all waiting for native support even if some functions need to be bound to either a keyboard or you could get creative and make a button a function swap that when held would change what every button can do.... Basically like how an elite 2 can use a paddle to give every button 2 functions.

If 11 people at a cookout are passing up on a sale for something they have wishlisted for over a year then you're likely missing out on a bunch of sales from people just like them.

Just a thought.

ReWASD is miles ahead on Xpadder and Pinnacle. ReWASD is actively being developed while the other 2 are long dead. Neither of them scratch the surface of ReWASD. In Terms Steam controller support, yes and no. I create a Steam controller config with all the mapping removed and apply it to each of my games. This clears all game created mapping even those hard coded. Then you create a mapping in ReWASD that reassigns all the mapping you need for each game. This includes mapping for your controller, mouse, and your keyboard. But ReWASD goes way beyond simple mapping.
I personally use a controller in my left hand and mouse in my right but with ReWASD, you can bind any game function to any controller button.

There are throngs of people who would buy this if there was controller support. I play on a 67 inch TV screen, usually in the dark. If at least the basics were supported, I will buy. Without it, I will not. As others have stated, for this and many, many other games.

Good day everyone, thank you for your feedback. The controller support isn't on the table right now, as there are many orders and interactions that could be limited while using a controller. So we're thinking about it, however we aren't promising anything.

Happy gaming!
