Can you host a private game and invite friends or do you have to rent a server ?

You can host your own private session via the in game menu and invite your friends, host your own dedicated server with the provided files, or rent one from a provider.

Not positive how that functions to be honest, you'd need to explain what you're wanting. In DeadPoly, you can play single player at your leisure, then host your single player save in to co-op and play with friends, then go back to single player.

In the future, I hope to have traveling inventories so you can join your friends saves with your character's gear.
