Food truly is a scarcity!

I've found a single pizza lol I'm about to perish! Anybody else struggling to find ground food?

go to the grocery store in garden city across from the hospital that should help

hi if you need more food, one thing you can do is only loot the vending machines from time to time. (this is because if you pick them up or recycle them in the scrapper), they wont be there to re-spawn something for you later.

(i think its the same with the cash-machines, but in the Legacy version those can re-spawn so i usually loot and then dismantle those for spare parts) :)

for the grocery store, also try not to build or place down anything near its perimeter - i would give it an extra car's length around its base before building nearby, because in my rebuild version, it stopped spawning food etc, because i placed a row of about 15 arcade machines on the concrete path just outside it and then put chars around them so im happy enough with just looting the 2 vending machines i left there, which do re-spawn food etc, as well as the 1 vending machine nearby at the mechanic's shop / junkyard area

Haha I haven't found anything that's a food source quite yet! I played Legacy mostly and I'm still getting used to this version. I love this game though, food or not!

ah ok cool, yeah i still play both, but the rebuild is shaping up nicely with the new features etc :)

Make farm plots. They can either be filled from excess water, or left to fill when it rains. Hunting animals helps. But look all over. There are a few places with food. The chicken fast food place in the south west usually has some

You can still find items such as waffles, dragon fruit and apples (green and red).

Food can definitely feel scarce sometimes. Once there are more food items in general in the loot table along with more food specific locations with interiors which will have a higher chance to spawn food, it'll start to level out a bit.
