claim base flag, and building

Ok, so I finally have some time to check out the new map, and updated game play.

I managed to find the building I made into a base originally. I place the base claim flag, but I cant place any walls or anything. I have wood in my pack. it takes 2 to build the wall. but its red out. I ran around trying to place it any where, and cant.

what am I missing?

The building personally is really bad as it's very limited to our imaginations. Foundations are now needed for anything and you literally can't build inside buildings now because of that. Hopefully it gets updated because I can no longer build how I used to in Legacy, the games a walking sim now at most.

Ah ok, foundations. yeah didnt think to check that. was all excited to find my old building, and just tried to slap a door on the front.

Yeah sounds like I may let this bake a little longer.

Map looks good, and I see updates are rolling out pretty quick now. hopefully that will get addressed.

Same, wanted to fancy my Saloon up but I gotta wait til I can do renovations inside lol

Also there are some doors that can sit in the doorframes without the need for foundation, I think the double wide doors can and some single doors.
