the ingame map sucks it dont show where you are you cant zoom in its just the same pic you can find on the web.

Paper maps don't show where you are either; that wasn't the intended use of the map.

I would have opted not to have that poor excuse of a map in the menu, seem wasted, way to disappoint the community.

I disagree. The map is fine. I usually just used a screen shot of it on a different monitor. This is better.

Though I am coming from Tarkov and have to use a separate tablet for my maps there lol

Y'all need to remember this is one man making this game, cut him some slack. He obviously has ideas to implement and is doing them as fast as he can. Instead of being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how about you just give constructive criticism about what you think could be better (Eaglestorm13). Me a my bro were hyped about the map and update. Keep at it man, we'll keep giving you advice and our opinions.
(my one suggestion with the scope is to make the reticle smaller or thinner because its fat as hell and hard to pin it on a far away enemy)

btw also having it on the menu screen is also a very handy way to bring up the map overview. it saves you from having to do these:

- to alt tab out of the game
- to fire up a browser
- to log into discord
- for discord to think you are not who you are and make you do a capture
- for the capture to fail and they force you to verify an email link
- to open a new tab and log into email (or similar)
- to wait for said email to appear
- to use the verification link
- for discord to complain that you have waited too long and the verification link has expired
- to try the above steps (omitted here to save time) :)
- to finally log into discord
- to search for and find the map
- to look at it
- to copy and paste or save it locally
- to log out of email
- to log out of discord
- to exit the browser and/or email programs

only to find out that you forgot to press escape and your character got eaten by zombies :)

so even if you save it locally, being able to see it from within the game, without any alt-tabbing issues, really is much better than not being able to.

Love the game... the map sucks. Also every shot is removing 2 bullets from every magazine. Speaking of... There needs to be more ammo to loot in the world or at least more GP.

Was the scope binding to a single gun bug fixed too? Are there detailed patch notes for these small updates?

The scopes aren't bound to a single gun at all, the bug is trying to swap the same scope from one gun that is equipped to another gun that is also equipped, while holding one of the guns. Just drag the scope to the backpack first, then attach and it works great.
