It’s a new game, I’m not really sure dead is a fair descriptor. It’s growing more and more every day. The majority of players are not solely focused on multiplayer at the moment either. As the game progresses and evolves, multiplayer will continue to grow as well.

I meant no offense by it, I was just hoping that when I hopped one there's be some PVP servers.

I play with a few people on private server so its not dead, but i did only find the game a few days ago I imagine others will soon discover it.

It's survival, this means staying out of sight. sir, you might not be a survivor therefore you are just an item bringer lol.

I didn't read your entire post just the title. no, no servers turn on and off sometimes. the developer is currently looking for a new provider host for servers to hold the higher player base and the amount of strain we cause with 50,000 items placed and such and such.
