Night or sleep?

Can yo sleep? The night is really dark.

Not currently but that feature is definitely on the way, For now, you can save and go to main menu and load back in to a new day.

I would too love to have the capability to sleep; in addition, the nights don't have to be that dark.

you can also use the admin panel to skip to day if you really wanted to. i believe its Right Bracket but can be changed in the settings

but dark nights and zombies is the perfect setting, idk how many times iv been spooked by a zombie at night, scared the crap out of me but also gave me a ton of laughs

I'd love the ability to sleep at night... Surroundead with sleeping bags/beds lets you "survive the night" or "sleep".. having to log out and in everytime its pitch black...

I agree, the ability to sleep at night will be nice when implemented. At an increase to hunger and thirst when you wake up obviously.

I think nights area good right now but yeah, they are a bit too dark. I don't mind it so much, though. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to craft a torch just yet, but I've only been playing the new build for 2 days and haven't leveled at all so I'm not too worried about it yet.

You can turn on the built in flashlight with Z, and there will be craftable light sources like torches etc in the near future for sure.

Sleeping on the beds, sleeping bags, etc is coming.

You can change the time of day in the admin menu in single player by pressing ]
