also there's nothing ''generic and uninspiring'' about being a man what are you on about? Gender has nothing to do with that. Women characters can be just as generic it all depends on how you design and write them.

I like games without a character creation, because I like to play games with what the developers create. That to me imo is more interesting than whatever I can try to create, because I have no imagination and what the developers come up with fits the story better than anything I can ever try to create.

Luckily people that hold extreme opinions like yours are rare, and people that make a purchasing decision based on them are a tiny fraction of the first group.

I.e. Game not appealing to extremists is not a big loss for developers and other gamers.
