HOW-TO: Delete a corrupted Save-Game
Hi there!

If in some case your game does not run and you get stuck in a "Rainbow Screen", it most likely means that something went wrong in the last play session and the game was unable to properly record save data due to interruptions or manual editing.

Since we are using Steam Auto-Cloud features, it has to be disabled before deleting your saved data, otherwise, the game will restore the backup data once you hit play again.

For this purpose , please see the instructions below:
  1. Locate the game on the Steam library and get to the game's Properties
  2. It should open at the General section by default which is fine.
  3. Find the checkmark that enables Steam Cloud and unmark it to disable it.
  4. Now you can delete the savedata. (You may want to back it up somewhere else first). The location depends on your platform:
    • For Linux => ~/.config/unity3d/Batovi Games Studio/Pixel Cup Soccer Ultimate Edition/
    • macOS => ~/Library/Application Support/Batovi Games Studio/Pixel Cup Soccer Ultimate Edition/
    • Windows => %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Batovi Games Studio\Pixel Cup Soccer Ultimate Edition\
  5. You can now hit Play and start the game. It will re-create the savedata files from scratch.

Please let us know if that changes anything about the issues that you were experiencing with the game or if you are still unable to do so.

When you are ready to re-activate the Steam Cloud features, please follow steps 1 through 3, except this time you will mark the checkmark to enable it.

Once you hit Play again, the Steam client will detect discrepancies between Cloud data and Local data. You will have to choose which one you would like to keep or try to reconcile the discrepancies manually by editing the files, which is NOT RECOMMENDED, as it is prone to cause more errors such as the one you are experiencing now.

how can I get my standings back => I played till Division 2 and dont want to start again

I tried all the description above. It did not help. Can you help me? I reinstalled the game already twice

I finally managed it... reloaded my my standings in the app data (save)
