Transfer Market

I already read in another discussion, that you consider implementing a transfer market in the career mode. I was a bit disappointed when I first played the game and there was no transfer market available. I think this is very important for league-modes and also highly rewarding and makes the game loop better and increases the replayability alot! Making money for the transfer market would also make high-stakes games against stronger teams for decent prize money more rewarding. You could also think about a merchandise system that could increase money-flow based on the clubs reputation in the world.

So my basic question is: Will you actually deliver an update with a transfer market? And if so, when will it launch?

Its a great game and I really apperciate your hard work, so retro games lovers with a hang for pixel graphics like me can dive into nostalgia once more :)

Hello, yes, it is in our plans to work on a transfer market, but it is something that we have not even begun to design, let alone program it, so it is difficult to say when it will be ready.
After a few days of vacation, we will focus for a while on multiplayer to see how it goes... something also relatively uncertain at the moment! :)

I think Super Mega Baseball 3 is a good example of how to design a transfer market for a game like this. SMB's offseason/free agency mechanics aren't a super-detailed sim (as in the Fifa games, for example), but there's still plenty going on with SMB3 to make mastering its mechanics engaging. A good balance between detail and easy, casual fun. I'd love to see a transfer market like this in pixel cup soccer, seems a great fit for this game.
