JA2 vs JA2 gold?

Can't find any info on it but I saw first that gog was selling JA2 for $5. Came to steam and they have gold version for $5 but it doesnt say what the gold version has.

Any idea?

Well i opended a Steam Support Ticket. The Gold Manual says that the Editor should be Included. I already reinsalled and Downloaded JA2: Gold but its still missing. I guess this is only a Error.
When i get a reply from the Support why there is no editor (maybe its only me who dont have it, bug dont know), i will post it here and you can make a Decission if you want to buy it.

The Gold Editon has a Lot of Improvements to the Original JA2 and you can cheat again if you want (or have to).

In my Opinion: Yes

Wildfire is a Cool Game no Question, but the "Orignial" Jagged Alliance 2 is much better, cause:
-> The Weapone Sounds of JA2 are much better then the ones from Wildfire
-> Wildfire is a little bit Unbalanced (Hard at start, Easy at mid and end)
-> JA2 has the better "Story" Implementation

You can play both and both make fun. But i would say that the Original JA2 (Gold) is better then Wildfire

And, apart from the editor and Unfinished Business expansion, is JA2 Gold better than the original JA2. ? I' m asking because I've already bought the original JA2 and Unfinished Business on GOG and I was wondering if I should buy this Gold Edition in order to get a better JA2 experience...

If you have it from GOG already then there is really no reason to buy the Gold Edition if you own UB and JA2.

The Digital Version from GOG and JA2 from Gold here on Steam are on the Same Patch Level, with a few Bug fixes (The Original JA2 Reatail had a lower Build Level from Patch 1.12 which causes sometimes Trouble on "Modern" Operating Systems.). I guess there are some little changes in the Gold Edition (I have read that you can only in the Gold Edition use the G key to light the Ground under the Mercs in the night), but its not worth it go get it for 5€ / $ only to get some "little" fixes for really rare problems

i have got a reply Email from the Steam Customer Support. Cause Jagged Alliance 2 Gold Edition is provided by a Third Party Company (Strategy First) i have to contact the Support of Strategy First.
I wrote them a Email Ticket a few Hours ago. I will post the reply here as soon as i read it.

Other Question: Lets say they say that the Steam Version of Jagged Alliance 2: Gold dont contain the Scenario / Map Editor. Is that a reasone to want a refund for the JA2: Gold Editon?. Cause in the "Non Steam" Version the Editor is included (They mention the Editor even in the Maniual you get here for your Steam copy) and the Store Site of the JA2: Gold Edition dont contain the Information, that the Editor is missing.

Not that i want a refund (cause i like JA2 very much), only Theoretical Question

Exactly. Also with the 1.13 mod it seems that there is no censorship. It's the first time I hear about censorship in this game since I always used the 1.13 mod.
Going to the brothel you can indeed talk to "madame" and have a "sweet time" with on of the girls. Going to her room will make squeaky naughty bed sounds

Also the 1.13 patch brings so much... like ability to fine tune your own mercs, having more of your own mercs, tons of weapons, bigger maps, etc.

It's simple, gold is the special pack with jagged alliance 2 and jagged alliance 2.5 (unfinished business) 2 differant game. And you can find free editor on web....
