Hi. I managed to patch JA2 without any problems. But I seem to fall short on any fixes for unfinished business. It just wont start at all. Not even the grey scrren I got on JA2 before I "hacked" it. Any help to be found here?

Well I tried that as well as playing it under win XP and Vista. Every time load error appeard but with different numbers.

Not working for me either, and I can' even figure out toget to where I select run under win 7 mode anymore with windows 10, I wish they would stop screwing with how everything works and where it is on the computer.

I finally got it to work by playing it on Linux through "playonlinux" (wine program). It works like in the old times with no hikups. I recommend doing it that way.

Thanks but currently that is not an option for me. My laptop was hit by lightning awhile back, and I went through 2 boards from china to fix it. The problem is the board I ended up with one of the sata bays don't work, so I only have one SSD drive and it's only a 120 gig, so don't have room for two OS right now.

I would have it working now, if it wasn't for Windows moving ♥♥♥♥ around so you can't find it. I can't find compatabilitymode in Win 10 to save mylife, tried all 3 ways to get to it too.

External hdd could work. Not free but it doesn't have to cost plenty. You don't have to care about quality that much if you only have it for this game. (I would however use it for all games that works on Linux but that is just me.)

I order a replacement for my optic drive tray that will take a hard drive, but it's not here yet. When it gets here, all my games are already installed on my second drive.

UB was notoriously buggy and unstable, even back in the Windows 98/XP days.
You're not missing much, it's like 3 maps.

I got 3 diferant versions, this is only one of them, and none will work on Windows 10, so I am missing more than 3 maps. I got BACK IN ACTION, 2 GOLD PACK, AND 2 GOLD PACK UNFINISHED BUSINESS. I never have been able to play any of them I bought here, played a long time ago on the originals though.

JA2 is from 1999 and will require dark magic to run unless you have an old Windows XP 32bit machine sitting around

Thanks, I saw that earlier, was really just wanting the game to work unmolested with nothing changed. May have to do it this way though or not play at all. I shouldj ust ask for my money back, as Ialready have these games somewhere anyway, and only paid again because I didn't want to have to make the game work, I expected them to do that or not sale it.
