how to active Descension runs

at the start of a run, there's stairs on the right

you have to have won the game at least once. Just spent 10hours unloking it since with my main save file I actually never beat the game before...

sounds like it is not easy if you have only played for fun, then you have to learn how to win first. this can take many hours

Winning is more easily Possible if you go down the sexual route. Getting an 'Empress' ending is v. hard, but 'Happy' ending is much easier. You need to increase Stamina, Endurance, Willpower and energy. She'll spend most of the fight with her legs apart, but she'll outlast the attackers. It should then be possible to beat the final levels. Good Luck.

the biggest issue I have is since the DLC my game locks up.

BTW, just worked out you don't need to win the final level to try a Descension Run. I started a fresh game and the stairway down on the right was there immediately, so it looks as if you can just start playing in descension mode straight away.
