Anyways, this thread gives me an impression of those who state a certain hamburger place is better than Mcdonalds or why New York Pizza is better than Pizza Hut. At the end of the day, Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut has their world presence while these local chains are staunchly defended by their contrarians.
I reread your OP post. I guess you want a game that arouses you and then kills your boner. So what you need is a game where you are about to bone the hot princess of the castle but it turns out it was Toad and that the princess is in another castle.
This is a great game and I back people who say this is the best game. I wouldn't say this is the best game because my preferences are different. I actually rank the games you hold dear as Crap because of differences in preferences. You want stories, guy you argued with want tactics, and I just want new creative forms of sex with diff actors/creatures. I am not fond of sex novels but plenty of females love reading sex in words rather than in pictures. But most certainly there should be different styles of NSFWs for every type of player.
Personally, I would refund this game if the art was not good nor gratuitous. I'm not happy with short haired girls but I can allow this travesty to pass due to the large floppy proportions tucked into a unstable tube dress clothing.
Nope, you've got it completely wrong again lol
In fact you sound more like someone who drops the gameplay and searches for sex mods for games like club penguin and hello kitty island adventure, in comparison that sounds more ridiculous.
I'm considered new to the eroge/h-game scene but definitely not in the NSFW category. SWORD X HIME looks interesting and I'm intrigued with what I see so far. Thank you for the recommendation. I'll look into it and see if I get hooked. It's always fun to switch between games.
Last Evil has some dark ARPG vibes with NSFW implemented into it and card battle style which I enjoy. I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.
As for Skyrim and all the other Elder Scrolls series, it is top tier in regards to story-telling. As for the mod, I believe my friend plays the game with it and can't really stop so, I'm guessing it is that great. Although, I'm more leaning towards the game in its vanilla state (without mods) that centres around eroge/h-game with this topic.
I've read what you've said in some of the newer posts after this one and I've more or less covered the exact same thing towards OP. Completely understandable if you won't bother reading my first contact with the OP because it is pretty long but, there's really no point with him.
Different opinions are perfectly fine but as I've stated in a previous comment, his opinions don't make a lot of sense.
Skyrim requires some ability to comprehend instructions. Some people can't fiddle with Information Tech so they are probably better off just watching porn vids or buying porn games.
Last Evil, without NSFW, is a crappy version of Slay the Spire. But because the NSFW is decent, it's a good NSFW. Unfortunately, there are small bits of snuff around but it isn't graphic or gorey. It's just ragdoll corpses. Dead succubus' killed by humans. Orc wearing a human as an armor. You are never actually killed in any of the game overs. But one can imply that you probably would have a short life eventually if you do game over.
A response to the edit:
Ragdoll corpses are quite common in T-rated and M-rated games. Dead corpses and wearing the "skin" of a kill are also common in those game ratings. Lots of M-Rated ARPGs and horror games have those. Monster Hunter is a prime example of wearing a kill and the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Snuff is more like a "horror/shock factor" content with torture and killed (commonly slowly) in the process. Porn can commonly be added in with that formula (can involve minors and rape). Peter Scully[en.wikipedia.org] is a known real-life criminal for this.
Yet you didn't even say anything in return because you know that I'm absolutely right.
It's not my fault if you lack the capacity to understand even though I've talked about it over and over again.
Yep, that's what I thought when I didn't know what a story was back in the day too.
As for Sword x Hime... From everything that I've read about it so far, that game sounds like it has a great deal of *bestiality* in it to be frank. You'd think that kind of stuff would immediately irk off some self-righteous people who act like they are above other eroge and their enjoyers, but I doubt it's a problem now since you know, they are also known to be hypocritical and in reality they aren't actually a paragon of virtue or anything like that.
If Sword x Hime's greatest strength is to build characters with great freedom, I think most Illusion games already do that plenty good for me. Including all kinds of clothing, skin colors, body shape. Namely Honey select, AI Shoujo and Koikatsu, probably many many more out of Steam. They even have a huge and thriving modding community, so there's a chance what you are looking for is still provided by them. In light of this, what I'm thinking is that, that leaves Sword x Hime's primary selling point to be... yep... Bestiality. Not that I judge, but not particularly my cup of tea.
When it comes to Last Evil, on top of having a crappy gameplay (also Sword x Hime too), I've also read reviews criticizing it's sexual content as well. Namely, I've seen a review talking about seeing the same things over and over again. That rings a bell? If the gameplay of these two games aren't that good, that makes me wonder how are they that much better than Subverse, which is supposedly suffering from the same things. I don't enjoy card games in particular, but I've yet to check out these two games myself.
Also, Karryn doesn't actually get raped ever unlike some of the other titles we've both mentioned. It's based on desires. You can even construct a build where you just cause them to masterbate themselves to submission.
Anyways, yes I'll repeat that I hate all posters here and that my opinion is the right opinion. I hate Honey Select Al Shoujo and Kokatsu. Terrible tea.
The refund system is there. You should really just play what you like and refund what you don't instead of reading up reviews. I kept a few I like and refunded like 4/5 of the titles I've bought on steam. I'm actually amused (as well as others posted) on why you randomly just started a topic here kind of like those people who hold REPENT FOR JESUS signs. But I haven't been dissuading you for this because otherwise this forum is pretty boring with the "HOW DO I WIN FASTER" topics. And I really do enjoy forums that are either modless or have chill mods.
Some people like to be steam reviewers and make their mark in the world by doing that. But I guess you might have left a review and are still not happy for some reason so that you need to generate a attack across forums. What did the Dev do to harm you?
That's the story I care about. More than any make believe game story. Tell us YOUR STORY OP. Why did you create this thread?
(I also want to give you one other game to insult. Treasure of Nadia. It's also got alot of QUALITY NSFW content and it is actually comical that is NOT FORCED. Unlike Subverse. I'm not a fan of the gameplay since it's just a linear path of brute forcing scavenger hunts. Though there is a large minigame of like 30 puzzles which is entertaining.)
I know. What does that mean to me? Nothing.
Yeah she pretty much does until she gives in, no point in sugar coating. Why would you even want to try to sugar coat it? It's some people's cup of tea, no point in denying it if you enjoy. Nobody is supposed to be here to act like holy saints of virtue like that one other guy.
Nah, yours is especially the wrong opinion.
You completely misunderstand me once again. I don't hate this game. I don't dislike it even. To me, this game has around the same level of quality as Huniepop. Which is a quality eroge, especially for it's time and also it's price. But Huniepop is by no means, the best eroge there is, just like how this game isn't. That has been my point from the start. This is a quality eroge, that's just it. It's not the end all be all of all eroges.
The refund system mostly doesn't work on games that have story btw, because you have the tendency to keep going in anticipation if it gets better by the end. I'm also the complete opposite of jesus freaks, and I believe I have shown that time and time again, throughout this topic, the analogy escapes me. Am I really the jesus freak as opposed to someone who rants about snuff in a righteous crusade?
I do have a lot of reviews already, and I hold no hatred of any kind towards the developer. It's just that many people seem to have the false idea to hold this game in a regard that it just isn't. Probably stemming from their own inexperience. And it needs to be pointed out and said that it's not as good. This is not an attack. The forums do exist for a myriad of topics, including this one, so why be so perplexed about it?
I've heard about Treasure of Nadia actually and I've heard it being praised many times, furthermore it's setting and genre does intrigue me, so your intent of insult escapes me. That is most probably one of the games that I will be checking out since I've already known of it's fame.
I just can't be bothered because you're a lost cause.
That's copium for you
I don't know why you think I'm insulting you. It's just entertaining because you come here like an extremist with a view attacking what are really just moderates who aren't THAT supportive of Karryn's Prison either. But I guess you're incensed that your favorite music band isn't on the top of the top of the music charts.
And what's with the random support for Subverse when you've never played it as well? If it's due to "it has a story", you will be really disappointed by it. Most encounters aren't relevant to the story but you just meet parodies of British pop culture since it's a Brit dev. You'll find an Alien Gordon Ramsey for example.
Artstyle is subjective I think and is almost the least of concerns for the most part, because the average eroge has palatable art quality by default. Karryn has good artstyle but I can immediately see some people not liking it based on their artistic tastes too.
I don't feel insulted by you, you made it sound like you were trying in your own words. If resorting to a troll mindset claiming that this is entertaining for you, do you think this is least bit painful for me?
I don't know, I hope calling on to british pop culture isn't a way of showcasing your american superiority by any chance, you know there are some people who think like that too. Wouldn't really help your case a bit. Is calling on the game's british pop culture references truly relevant? What about british people who like them, or british people who don't like certain games the same way you don't, "because it's too american?" Is this an extremist hypocrisy? Moreover, if subverse and the last evil shares the same design deficits according to negative reviews, then what really makes last evil top notch?
What I am really about isn't to defend that game really, but to defeat the notion that KP "is the ambassador of all eroge, while that game didn't turn out to be that", according to what quite a few believe. The mention of Subverse might as well be irrelevant at this point of the discussion, other than presenting it as an arbitrary comparison. For example I could go on to say that if subverse and the last evil shares the same design deficits, then subverse's actual fault was in promising too much but delivering a game at the quality of the last evil. But I really don't care either way. I'm not sure if I'll like either the last evil nor the subverse to be frank.
