else. just play easy mode learn the mechanism both your stat edict and the enemy pattern.
The gym and the basketball court are two other places you have to do this.
Why this matters is because the upgrading your own bed is cheapest and it's a necessary source of boosted stats with the well rested buff.
Titles. Things you earn when playing. They have active bonuses (work when you have the title equipped) and passive bonuses (which work always on you). Also some "activate once, always works". These stack with each other, and their bonuses are kinda significant. These include, but not limited to +Gold\day (and a lot), +Stats, -Fatigue in Combat and even +Control. And +MaxLevel. You can reeeeeally overpower your enemies if you collect all (or most of) these.
Builds. The game basically has two build branches: 1)Combat Build (Str\Dex\Agi) 2)Sloot Build (Endurance + Energy). You get stats each time you use relevant skills yet your max level is limited and if you spread your stats too much you'll just get weak Karryn, unable to fight (or endure sex) up to the point of complete game loss. Prioritize your stats, if you going Combat for example - choose one stat you want to train, learn Cautious Stance edict and alternate between that attack and that stance.
Other bonuses. All the stuff you can get which helps you. Free Meal edict. Free Store Items. Upgraded bed which boosting your stats. Enemy debuff edicts. Research edicts. Lots of them really. All stacks, all helps.
I am, at first, tried to just go Warden difficulty blindly, without learning mechanics - and was wrecked at second floor. Then I started at Secretary, learned how the game works, now I'm playing Prisoner runs for titles - it's hard, but definitely doable once you know what you're doing.
