How do you edit the save files?

I want to increase my STR. I don't know why, but this game is super hard to manipulate.
I can open the save file but there is no STR stat in the file or atleast, anything simple.
Cheat Engine also can't work it out, weird! Ususally have no problem editing saves.

A better way to handle this is through the JavaScript files (JS) perhaps.
You can look at the 'Remtairy' files.
ie RemtairyCombat.js, RemtairyEdicts.js.
These can be edited with notepad.
Find them in ... common>Karryn's Prison>www>js>plugins

Backup the files 1st.
I think The Edicts file will be most helpful in that you can change the values of edicts.

BTW, I think the game is desiened in a way that you're supposed to lose. Each following gameplay is like a game+ so you get better. Not sure on this, perhaps someone else knows.
But if I'm right, then you may want to lose at least once.

It's not just about losing, over your playthroughs you are accumulating titles, which have passive effects either always active on you or activated by equipping them at least once. Most important part about them - they carry over into NG+, so yeah, multiple playthroughs give you more and more power to your future runs. You get more STR, DEX, AGI and so on, stats, Income bonuses and Order boosts.

About "lose at least once" - this gives you "A disappointment" title, which in turn unlocks "Redemption" challenge run, by completing it you'll unlock quite powerful "+1 Control" title, which helps on Warden and counters -1 Control Prisoner Difficulty debuff. And achievement, if you care about them.

There is a site for all games made with RPG maker - Saveeditonline. There you can edit your save files by simply drag and drop your save into "+Upload file" window. Site will open save for you to edit character attributes and some other values. Since it was made for all RPG maker games, attributes are named in a default way: ATK will be Strength, DEF will be Stamina, MDEF will be Mind, LCK will be Charm, etc. You may add a lot into all attributes then scroll down and click Download to get edited save file.

if by loosing u mean the game and not a fight, then u can get the "beautiful warden" title which give u +1 control daily (and -10 sight resit as a bonus)

Beautiful warden does give +10 Order on a one-off basis, so has use if Order is getting a bit low.
The +1 Control is only kept if you run with it all day.
If you want to avoid the -10 sight resist but get the Order bonus, then you just need to equip the title and immediately reset it back to something else.

It does mean you don't get the +1 control unless you keep it on for the day.
If you need/want the +1 Control then obviously you can always equip the title at any time (obviously, again, you have to keep it on all day and you get the -10 sight resist thown in for free )

can you edit how many edict points you get x day? it takes forever to learn stuff..
