Exorcism book

I know its working, but i cant perform thr exorcism whith it.
I read without interruptions, slow and fast, but its never work for me... What am i doing wrong?

I use google translate for exorcism book and it's been working quite well now. I know it's kinda cheating but got no choice for now.

If the ghost starts hunting as soon as you saying the phrases then it works correctly.

how many times do you have to say all the lines ? at some point the ghost stayed in hunt mode indefinetly , i just kept saying the words and saw the ghost turning into smoke poof for a dozen time, but she was still angry and existing. We even tried to just throw salt, which had the same effect but still in rage mode so i gave up, thinking it was a bug.

The exorcism book doens't work on all ghosts but it will make any ghost angry, to exorcism the ghost you gotta find the main objectives and then you have to do the side objectives to exorcism the ghost.

But remember to find out what the ghost is aswell.

You only need to do it once, if the smoke is only white that means the evidence is wrong and you don't need to use the book to exorcise it and you still need to find other evidence. If the smoke is blue and red that means it worked once, and if the ghost is still haunting you that means the exorcism is not finished yet but you can still use the book to make the ghost disappear when chasing you (it'll only show smokes though).

I had the same issues as well. What worked for me though was entering the building with the book, cross and incense equipped. Activate and throw down the incense and then have the cross in your left hand and book in your right. (make sure to close and open the book just in case of visual bug)

Ghost will get blocked by the incense and cross and then just repeat the exorcism spell.

Thanks a lot you two for the explanations. We did found 2 clues and what type of ghost it was, but maybe we've made a mistake. she was moving on the ground so we thought it was a revenant, but maybe not ? we'll try again.

dont worry exorcism book isnt working for me sometimes neither, i have the evidence that i need it 100% and its just not working, just have to restart the game, happens in 2 of 10 scenarios where i need it

have crucy in one hand and the book in the other. it has always worked for me and if that didnt finish the ghost off i missed something and start using everything I have on the ghost until its gone

I have a lot of times where the evidence is correct but the exorcist items don't work so it makes it redundant. I've only successfully exorcised a ghost once due to this.
