Microphone detection bug

hello i launched the game today for playing with a freind on the new Update but in the game no microphone working (i tried to chose another one but nothing)

additional clarification: I can be heard in game but the book does not recognise my voice, the text does not turn grey and there is no yellow flash indicating a bad position or a bad ghost

Those aspects are using the Voice Recognition (a different setting a little lower in the menu).
You likely have the right microphone selected, but you will need to make sure the game is going to be able to understand you.

If you have it set to Cortana, you will need to make sure that you have it properly set up in Windows Settings. I believe it's in Time & Language -> Speech (at least, that's what it is for mine, Win10).

Alternatively you can try using the in-game voice recognition, Recognissimo. I get better results from that one through this game, rather than using the windows Cortana.

well the problem is partiallly solved by itself : i don't have coratana using the right microphone and recognissimo but the french (my natal speech) is absolutly not regonized y the book (and only the book) so for now i play in english who is recognized
