Once you have at least one rune involving bounties, bounties will appear.
Bounties are a status effect that shows up on one random enemy. It looks like a spinning gold coin in the top left of the enemy sprite.
There are various runes that inflict debuffs on bounty enemies that are attacked and bonuses upon killing bounties. IE, each instance of damage inflicts one stack of suffocate, restore stamina to max on kill, etc.
It's a blessing-like effect, so a cloning enemy with a bounty will result in more than one bounty active and claimable at once.
