The game gets progressively harder and stressful with each thing you unlock and you need to constantly check where to put your limited ressources. While yes, technically you can't get caught by police, this is actually a blessing in disguise, because trust me - you don't need one more problem on the table. I constantly forget that I killed a guy while keeping up with orders, so I'd get caught every 2 mins or so - which would be effing annoying.
With improper time or ressource management you'll fail to deliver orders which is a very unsatisfying feeling an will block your progress entirely.
So yeah. If it's a no no for you if there's no "you lose" screen, don't buy. But you would miss out.
Yeah that's a nope from me. If there is zero risk to any element of any action in a game about running an evil business revolving around murder and Cannibalism.
Look the level of hand holding I'd expect from a game meant for very young children. There is a extreme lack in terms of Villain protagonist games. (Not talking surprise your the bad guy Twist plots.)
You have brain damage, stop posting
The game is pretty straightforward here. You're here to manage resources and direct two people in managing a business. While that's no different from many other games and it's a little old school in it's approach... That's what it is. It's a formula. A well-used one. It does it well.
That's the game. Can you lose? No but you couldn't really lose in those types of games in "the old days", either. You'd just have to start over or you'd make less money to upgrade your kitchen/workplace.
That's what type of game it is. It isn't a defense. Either it's for you or it's not. So you don't like Diner Dash and all of its alike type games. Fantastic. It's not that deep.
"Hey let's copy Sweeny Todd!" "Trust adults to be able to handle possibility of failure or have to actually worry about things? Nah."
I was suspicious of the game being only 5 bucks. And until the Devs said anything I was questioning that review. Until the Devs flat out confirmed the question. I'm not sure to chalk it up as laziness or lack of respect for the players.
You didn't like it. You move on. That's it. Done and over with.
