How do you 'play with the sign'?

I do feel a little silly asking, but as it's outside of my game window, I'm not sure how I'm meant to click on it for the achievement. The screen doesn't scroll, and I tried clicking on cut scenes and that didn't work either. Any help?

Go to the main floor, hold down the right mouse button, and drag to the left. This will strafe you into the street view, then you just click the pig sign 10 times. You can either rapid click which just taps it a bunch of times, or you can click it like a metronome and the sign will swing back and forth with more and more momentum.

Yeah, this is kinda Silly ... if not dumb ... that's the only time we have to use this function, to reach "outside" the game ...
