How to acquire the lever?

I've found Topazzo, who tells me to go to the desert. I've found Topa, who mentions that her brother left her a rod/lever. I need the lever supposedly for the owl bomb for the mill. What am I missing?

Topa should give you the lever which you then have to give to the blacksmith who will repair it for you. You have to do the quest "The Basements Burners" before that, if you haven't done it already.

Maybe you have to talk to Topazzo again and then talk to Topa.

I've completed the basement burners quest. The blacksmith says he can repair things for me. I've teleported back and forth between the two siblings multiple times. I can't get the quest to advance.

Hm, that's weird. What happens when you speak to Topa? She should actually give you the lever, but you have to speak to Topazzo first (which I guess you did). If you are playing on the Nintendo Switch, you can't progress after you've obtained the lever because there is a bug that needs to be fixed.

They recently pushed a patch to the switch (yesterday). Try updating the game

Currently on Xbox. Thank you for the replies. I just wanted to make sure it was a bug and not part of the quest I was missing. Hopefully it will get fixed in Hotfix 2...
