Abuse it till the game devs decide to fix their game

Go to the Kidoge village, and buy 10 eggs from the chicken farm on the far right of the town. Take the 10 eggs and go to Rodia Town, and go to the docks, to the building immediate to the right. Trade 10 eggs for 10 cheese. Then take the cheese back to a map trader and sell them for.... 71gp EACH.

I believe the intent here was to trade 10 eggs for 1 slide of cheese, netting you 1gp..... yeah well people don't pay attention when coding this game. Net yourself x10 each time. 70gp to start.... second round leave with 700gp. Next leave with 7000gp.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. I did three trips and went up to 71k. I didn't think going to 700k was necessary. But after buying all the shields, every book in the library (minus a few hidden behind spider webs), buying a buttload of potions, and buying all the armor in the clothing shop..... I still have 65k.

Hello.

In last hotfix (September 3rd) it's not working anymore.
In my case I have installed an old version ('not official') to obtain money and pass back the save file to the current installation. I understand in future versions could result in file corruption.
In blacksmith dungeon, specially after opening the first door with the key the blacksmith gives you, I can farm hundred of orbs killing bats, and reentering the room.

You can just abuse the money arbitrage, get a lot of money and then trade it for orbs in owl village

Ah that's a shame to hear the hotfix already fixed it. I'm still running on the switch and they haven't brought the hotfix out yet >~> i'm still trapped behind an invisible wall in the sewer until they do.

You can still buy as many eggs as you can for 7 each. Sell for 10 each at the desert oasis.
