Water pipe doesn't work

There is Ice in the Ice Breaker to the left, both recipes are turned on...but water never actually gets stored in the system, it just vanishes into thin air. What am I doing wrong?

You need at least one cube of water tank. Ice breakers only fill up water tanks, they can't provide water to production machines directly with pipes.

Ice breaker > Pipe > Tank > Pipe > Production Machine

i only have pipe from Ice breaker to tanks then production are hooked directy to tanks w/o a pipe

Huh, interesting. I never tried that.

Either way... you still need a tank between the Ice Breaker and the production, that's why OP's setup doesn't work. ^^

Zeah, I finallz figured that out mzself just before going to bed. I just assumed like other factorz games that thhe pipes had an internal storage, but not in this game, hence the confusion. >D
