I don't get transport logic
I mean, I get I can tell a device to request something, and it will take it from wherever possible, right? So what about resources arriving from a planetoid? I tried storing them but the bots don't do anything with those.

Also, as mentioned in another comment, my bots just run around doing nothing. Unless I have a single task for them, they won't do anything. They just go back and forth, sometimes randomly transporting 1 resource, then doing the same again...

1. Bots only work WITHIN the station/planet they were created on. They cannot travel between stations/planets even if they have a task on. There is a transfer option in

menu to reassign them to other station/planet, but it doesn't seem to work now (tested on mining bots).
2. AI is pretty much ♥♥♥♥, bot can make the same course like 15 times and then decide that there is an obstruction and just give up on life. Or just stupidly freeze in a place. Only deleting them "helps" in a sense that they at least don't take up space anymore (resources spent on them are gone tho). Same stuff with astronauts, too, albeit those are a bit "sturdier" and bug out less frequently.

On 1 , this is why I asked, so I transfer a resource from a planetoid to my base, cool, but then how do the bots take it (once it's in my base) ? The storage unit doesn't seem to work, the bots ignore it :s Where must the resource go for the bots to pick it up

On 2 , do cables obstruct them? It seems that conveyors don't. Uh, I don't get what obstructs them and what doesn't, would be much simpler if they were flying like in Factorio (simpler in coding too I mean)

I tried using bots and them just doubled up on conveyors. If you get blocked by something, they will too... and it seems to me that the biggest problems they have is blocking each other. One of my farms completely stopped producing because a farm bot tried to go in at the same time as a hauler tried to take something and the farmer blocked the hauler's path out so they both just sat their for about an hour before I noticed and deleted one of them.

Are the devs aware? The game is unplayable like this. Bots are supposed to facilitate certain aspects that are impossible with spaghetti belts - or at least it greatly adds to the grind, when it's supposed to relieve us from it, so we can focus on more advanced stuff.

Are they planning to enhance the AI ? Or change how the bots function? I mean it could be that the bots simply don't detect each other's collision, and/or they don't detect the collision of wires and belts.
