Just use however many solar panels you need each time. Then deconstruct them when you have exploited it and then you can re-use all the equipment for the next planet :)
I don't even just add a bunch of solar panels. A giant drill attacked directly to 8 solar panels. no need for even a container
That most probably doesn't work. I can't be sure because I'm not so deep in the tech tree but as far as I can tell, main base and planetoid are different instances. You can't join them by structure or conveyor belts. The only point of contact are the docks and conveyor belts must go through them to effectively join the two instances.
Besides, you only have one or two mines on each and they can be run by a few solar then recycled and drop the planet
Just create blueprints that include connected solar power for each machine.
( I like to make a blueprint with a floor above each machine with supporting walls/pillars; and have the solar panels on top of that. )
I built a "tower" of 20 Miners (2x2, 5 floors) with enough power to have each functional, with belts and tubes already setup - just have to set each miner for whatever resource to farm, and go do something else while they mine everything useful.
When you're done mining out a planetoid, delete it all so you can re-use the machines on the next mining planetoid.
The "Selection box" tool can make it easier to mass-select a large area and delete it all at once, once unlocked.
Place a Selection box , drag the arrows out to stretch the selection around all your machines you want to delete ; press "F" on the Selection box itself to highlight everything inside the stretched box, and Delete.
By the way, Tech Tree expands and gets a lot more grindy later - so that "late game" of Power Transmitter isn't really that "late game".
