Still cannot find Wheat
Hi,

Checked every planet in the map, none of them have any wheat.

I do visited some planets have trees, but they are not showing in the map screen

Do I need to research some advance searching tech to see wheat in the wheat ?
Or i need to research some kind of wrap engine to move to other space with new planets ?

Hi,
The map tells you exactly how many plants and animals (later) are on each planet.
Here is a detailed guide:

hi,
I checked all planets (around 7) non of them have any life showing in the map
Tried to re-roll the game with different seed, same result.

For this sort of thing, I wound up building shuttles and flying way out and just doing occasional checks of the planetoids I found further away from my base. If it's something you'll need to do more than just grab a few things, you should build something on the planetoid, otherwise it might disappear when you go back to your base to bring it over.

If you can't find Wheat or Tree saplings ; just move the colony in any direction for a while, then stop and check map again. It seems they are more likely to spawn AWAY from the starting area.
Repeat if necessary...

Travel as much as you want, it's endless, so you can discover 99999 planets ;)
Each planet has different generation rules, so it's just a matter of time to find "LIFE"

Actually, life objects accessible on planetoids don't always correspond to the numbers listed on the map: Had one Armadudu listed but saw 7 when I was stripping the planetoid.

Caught 5 but the other 2 were elusive.

Agreed.

Took a bit of searching to find tomato seed and Armadudu.

The same life form appears many times on close by planetoids but not the same life form on every planetoid.

I'm guessing that the closest 'Astro colony' gets to planets are planetoids not reduced planets like in 'Dyson sphere program' planets.
