Scanner shortcomings
It appears to me that the scanner leaves a bit to be desired.

We can scan for almost all resources, except for 'gas geysers' and living material {plants or animals}. While not being able to scan for geysers can be overlooked as those are usually visible at the surface of the planetoids, not being able to scan for plants or animals is a serious shortcoming.

I have had a planetoid with several wheat/tomatoes/animals/etc, but not being able to locate the last few. Plants are the worst if only because they can be partially under a layer of dirt or hidden under a huge rock. When scanning, I would like a general vicinity of where the last harvestable plant {or animal} is. It would save so much time than fruitlessly looking for that last item and wasting 30 minutes or more.

Getting plants or animals was never a problem for me, probably because I've 'processed' dozens of planetoids in this current game play session.

Have beasts and seeds I've yet to tap.
