I'm not trying to be disrespectful but It is really frustrating to spend a lot of time solving game play problems because I don't think like everyone else.
I don't think like anyone else, never have or will.
I asked for help on the blueprint how to until I was blue in the face, luckily I found the answer after a lot of trial and error - I hate wasting that amount of time to find an answer.
The answer I sought was apparently 'assumed' to be so obvious that it wasn't worth mentioning: a common attitude in many Steam games.
Too much "ass-u-ming' going on.
That answer appears nowhere except in my 'Single player' guide - no longer 'assumed'.
The current Stargate is broken and refuses to acknowledge its existence so I'm going to have to find another blackhole and do the process over again.
Yes, I'm persistent and will defeat rhis problem like the last one and include what I've discovered in my 'Single player' guide.
Fellow players, any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.
The solution is simple. Youtube.

The first link shows exactly what I did plus whatever mistake I made and the result was a failure for me - the game doesn't think the my constructed Stargate exists.
So, I have to retry, again.
I will do the mistake the first, second time I try many times BUT I, also, document the mistakes I make to warn other players.
I appreciate your assistance.
I hope you get it sorted. I think this game is worth the effort of doing a bit of research some times to find out how it works. Its a fun game.
I don't give up on a game challenge, the point is to overcome challenges.
I like your perspective on the game, the developers are working hard to make it fun.
I'm a Discussion poster: think of Discord as too fan orientated so avoid the time consumption that Discord requires.
It is really aggravating watching a video claiming it is really easy to do and follow exactly what I'm told to do and despite the claims that it is easy to do: all I do is fail.
Oh, I've added unmentioned things like make sure the antenna is running and try to add a power receiver to the Stargate even though no mention of needing to do that.
It is really hard to figure out things that are never mentioned.
Does the stupid Stargate need a power receiver, if so how do you attach it?
No mention of that necessity in the videos AND my game looks like it is working perfectly.
Everything I do fails! what is it that I'm supposed to know that is never mentioned?
I could use some help here. What's the deal?
Believe me, I've done what you just suggested three times and failed.
I know, your thought must be: Oh, it can't be that hard.
This game has given me cause to be angry and frustrated, many times.
My best guess, currently, is that the Stargate icon (Antenna must be running to see the icon) must be at the center of the blackhole or the power up doesn't work.
My Antenna engineer is constantly taking long breaks.
This game is not forgiving if you make a mistake such as allowing the line of sight to the blackhole be not on center in order to center the Stargate icon.
Apparently, I needed to be flush on the blackhole when constructing the Stargate in order to create the right line of sight for the powering up.
Your thinking: those three robots don't need line of sight to construct the Stargate.
Well, developers make assumptions they rarely disclose.
I was a business analyst: I know how coders think, no one ever teaches them the importance of diverse user interface design since they are always on the clock.
When I do a guide, the diversity of the potential readers is always in my thinking.
I'll correct the line of sight before powering up and hope that works.
Fingers crossed.
I have a fully powered Stargate but it doesn't work, the spaceship stays in the same universe.
Don't find any special key to press to make the stupid thing work.
I'm doing everything right but it is not working.
Last option is a bug report: there is got to be something wrong with the code.
You have to fly up to the stargate alone. Press E key I believe. It will ask if you wanna take your ship with you. Say YES...There is nothing wrong...
The interact or 'F' key is only useful for the spaceship.
Bringing the spaceship close to the Stargate, I selected the Stargate icon (at the Stargate center) with the game cursor and pressed the 'F' key - the 'F' key is not recognized by the Stargate and no menu appears like you suggested.
Only spaceship key options are recognized.
Astro colony developer, I don't know how to send a game file to you.
I'd really appreciate your help getting past this impasse.
Astro colony developer, my Single player-Stargate guide section documents my actions prior to reaching this impasse.
