When you play multiplayer, everyone has bodies ;)
Same with Minecraft, I am not sure if you can play in third person, and if yes, how hard it is to place stuff and destroy voxels?
I would imagine the precision would go down somewhat, but maybe it'd be worth it for someone who wouldn't be able to play due to motion sickness otherwise
Sorry, the game seems interesting but no 3rd person, no play because of motion sickness :(
However, if you need convincing pros/cons of this particular game there is always my 'Single player' guide meant for potential game purchasers of this game.

Even with a body there's more to making a player present in the game than that, so arguing that players have bodies in multiplayer does not account for the lack of presence experienced by some players in single player.
I agree that adding body/legs would improve immersion, but would also get annoying when it comes to construction - looking directly down.
Most of the time, you are just looking down when constructing and expanding your station.
It's an automation game with colony sim, so not having a body (like in Minecraft) helps.
There are places where you can see full body - in the starting cinematic scene or multiplayer ;)
Thanks guys for suggestion, I will think if it makes sense making body visible.
There seems to be a miscommunication. The body is not the issue.
The issue is the sense of operating a camera in "creative mode" as one player noted in another post:
"...at the start of the game it felt like I was in creative mode. As if it was still a tech demo. Maybe a realistic hover and slow braking with counter-thrust at the beginning would be better. And creative flying could then be unlocked."

The solution is not adding a body, so much as adding a sense of presence in the game world via physics.
More friction (auto-stopping) could be enabled back when gyroscope is on. What do you guys think?
