Why doesn't the little robot tell me this? A Simple 'equip the wire' would have done that.
Aaaaaaargh!
Dang it! I'm having the worst time ever in a new game. I've now progressed slightly (thank you brnphoenix75!), and now the little robot tells me that the Destruction Tech (that I have researched) allows me to destroy any component. But whenever I try to do that (control+right MB), I get an error message MISSING CONSTRUCTION technology. If there ever was a show piece for why it is important to have a game/UX designer in your team, this game is a poster child. I feel like an idiot, and this game is definitely not fun for me.
Two hours in, and I've had nothing but a frustrating experience. Bummer.
Just a note for anyone wandering in.. it auto-populates your early bar of equipment. 1-9 to select them, if you're that new to this type of game.
