How to pass through docks?

How do you pass power or water through a dock?

If i run it from the platform to the planetoid the lines show powered, but it won't connect to anything.

To send power from your platform to a planetoid you need to use a power transmitter first then build a power receiver on the planetoid. Use the power transmitter by pressing F then aim the receiver.

I don't think water can be transport for a planetoid to your platform ...yet

Then they need to change the description of the docks.
It literally says "Through this gate items, water, electricity, robots and colonists can be transferred."

you are right, thanks for reporting it! It was planned, but then I had to rethink about the system! It will come in the future when I solve it!

Still waiting for a fix on this. Just tried it and still can't get water or power to go through. However, changing one side negates any changes on the other side, so that's something. Not helpful but at least it shows some form of interaction.

It was 2022. I believe the system works as expected in the current version.
The docking system is allowing you to transfer water/gas//electricity.

To transfer astronauts and robots, you need to use big docking (not harpoon).
Then, depending on the upgrade of the docking, you can transfer:
- elecitrcity lvl 1
- water lvl 2
- gas lvl 3

A thought about version 3, Expert docking:

How about attached planetoids changing to the same color when spanned by an Expert dock: indicating spanned planetoids become a single unit.

A clear indicator that the spanning worked.

Actually, Ready's idea would also be very helpful when viewing on the map. If you have multiple planetoids docked at the same time, the map area right where your main station and docked planetoids are looks like a real mess. A single unit approach would be more clear.

please make the connector so that the dock connectors can be swapped, left to right and vice versa, otherwise when cascading multiple docks I will have to switch the wire diagonally
