Did you run into a bug?

We have been doing our best to look and fix bugs in Anglerfish. But this is a game that changes according to how you play and die, so in many places there can be numerous versions of a sequence. We are a small team, so it may happen that we have overlooked something. So let us know if you experience a bug and we will try to recreate it so it can be fixed as soon as possible.

I don't know if that's a bug, but i can't run the game. I press play botton in the library in Steam, and 3 seconds later that bottom come back to play, the game never start :C help pls

It sounds strange that Steam won't launch the game. I will try to ask you two questions in an attempt to find out what the problem could be. 1. Anglerfish is a PC Windows game. Are you using Windows. If yes, which version. 2. If you use Windows, try downloading the Anglerfish demo on itch(.)io. It does not use a launcher like Steam does. (You can search for Anglerfish on itch(.)io and it should pop up.)

I ran into the same bug twice:
When you are beheaded by vampire following with "Will you marry me?" sign - when Yes/No appeares game doesn't react to anything. I had to close the game via Windows and launch again.

WingedDog a mouse cursor is supposed to appear, but if your mouse is completely off the screen it may seem like nothing is happening. You use the mouse cursor to select Yes or No. Could this be what happened to you? We check up just to be safe, but we tested exactly that thing several times yesterday where it worked, so we are a little surprised. Thanks for the message. Appreciated.

I tried moving and clicking my mouse both times it happened - no reaction whatsoever. In other game interactions mouse worked propperly.

The mouse cursor (for Yes/no to marry) does not appear at the map with the 4 digit code (which you can find at your website) -the map before the poison lake maze with the rubber ducks. It did work on another map for me though.

Can you sort the issue out as when you do I will buy it again as for now I have had to request a refund!!

Any news on when the bug/issue that stops the game from running will be sorted??

For some reason at some point all of my progress was restarted. All of a sudden none of the shortcuts were open, none of my death statues were there aside from the standard "killed by enemy", and I had to cut open the shotgun room at the start again. With this game I can't tell, but was this intentional? Because if so, kind of a ♥♥♥♥ move.
