Tutorial - Feeding Your Village - Broken?
Just got this game and wanted to checkout the tutorial today, already have a problem. So I think it's like the 4th or 5th tutorial in the list, where you setup a coal mine. The step is called "Feeding Your Village".

"You can select input and output storages to control goods flow. Press on the Output Storage button"

But when I click on the output storage button the tutorial doesn't update to tell me what I'm supposed to be connecting it to. It looks like I can connect it to the train station, but when I do that nothing changes to tell me what to do next, also the red X doesn't change so I guess that means I wasn't supposed to connect the output the train station?

I thought maybe it was right but now I had to hook the input to something, and the only thing it seems to let me do is the train station...which doesn't make sense but the tutorial is no longer guiding me.

Can anyone explain the next step?

From memory you need a storage for the mine and that to feed the station. Either that or your station is too far away from the mine.

I downloaded the game ages ago to try it. With the new launch coming up, I got it again. I'm having this exact same problem. The tutorial dialog may as well read "You could go on to the next step if only you knew what to do here."

I do notice that if you click off any building that the dialog adds 'Press on "Output Storage" button' but I don't see any such thing.

I might not understand the issue, or it is not present for me. Could someone please do a video or screen capture?

Here I took a video of it, I'm not sure how to really post it so I put it in Google Drive. If that doesn't work just tell me where I can send you the link or video directly.

Restarting the tutorial fixed it.

Yup, thanks, restarting it seemed to fix it!
I'd say it's still a bug that needs to be fixed though. I can see some people getting frustrated with it, and that being what makes them return the game.

Also, for that tutorial they might want to cut down on the number of signals that need to be placed. That seems excessive for a one way train tutorial.

Thanks again for the quick replies!

Thank you for the video. It is definitely a bit strange, will figure it out.

For the signals part, you can press and drag to build multiple of them, all of those signals can be built in just a few steps.

This is still an issue. Rather infuriating.

I had the same issue with the same tutorial dialogue. Would not progress. Will restart the tutorial.

Restarting does not fix the issue for me.
