I know how to copy fragment with blueprint mode and paste it elsewhere. But how to save blueprints for later? Just like we have those 3 presets with intersections and basic station. Because it's annoying to go back to existing spot, select it, move to destination, paste every time. I though we will have some kind of "book" (like in Factorio) where we can save blueprints.
2. Do I need to move goods from WAREHOUSE to VILLAGE HALL/Station?
Over the past week I had to learn how to play this game with the help of this board... So I will help others just as I was helped.
The coal picture is a default and actually does not need coal. Well not yet anyway... HOWEVER there is a secret to placing a distribution centre.
You have placed a station, a sawmill for arguments sake and now you want to place a distribution so you can expand... You are not getting workers there and no one is picking up your goods.
TIP 1: Place a distribution centre first.
TIP 2: Place your station on the edge of the distribution blue print/service area.
TIP 3: Make a road to run behind/parallel to the station (so not into it but by its side)
Now you can place your industries as you wish. If you have an existing industry - destroy it and place a new one so it will link with the distribution centre. It seems that if you have it with a station it defaults to the station and the rest of your industries do not get workers.

If you mean the bridge at the station... its only purpose is to link platforms to the station. Without that your platform will not be servicing any trains. Rail bridges in the early stages are only to cover water, and a road will have to be built over the rail (icon next to streets). Later in the game when you access stone you can build stone bridges which can cross train lines and water.
What i wanted to know is, does the station bridge also count as a platform for loading/unloading. Lets say i build a station with platforms 10 long and the bridge between the platforms on length 11 does a 10 long train load/unload faster then if i have like 1-2 bridges on the first 1-10 platforms. Or is loading/unloading just one speed if you have platforms only on one side and faster if you have platforms on both sides.
As far as I know the bridge is purely there to link platforms to the main building. They therefore cannot increase speed as that is their function. Does a train get unloaded faster with a platform either side... I honestly cant tell you... BUT what I can say is that using multiple platforms and signals to and from your station is by far faster. My stations work on platform < rail <rail < Platform... but I have fairly early in the game at least 2 of these in combination at my warehouse and sawmill as that is where most of the action is. Leading up to this I bring in 4 rails with signals to stagger trains.
eyballing It, double the loading speed for platforms on both sides.
for the blueprints. they are a mighty tool. lay some tracks copy, plop you line a.s.o.
for finding the location on the map with a blueprint in the hand, leave the menu for the town, station or distribution center open. click the buton for centering there and you still have the blueprint to work with.
EDIT: And then of course I immediately discover that you can scroll it either side easily by picking up a car and mousing over to the right. Lmao.
