Help with the Plot / Ending (Spoliers)

I’m having trouble understanding the plot and ending fully. This is what I can gather (spoilers):


The curse starts some years back when a girl, who is pregnant with the baby of a boy who her family won’t approve of gets sexually assaulted waiting for her husband to elope. When it appears he isn’t gonna show, she commits suicide (?). It seems she was attacked by 5 men so as a ghost she kills off 5 people every leap year cause that’s when she died.

Fast forward to our group, the main character (I forget names, Hisin I think?) promises to help the ghost kill people in exchange for her life, which is the year of 2012 when the blonde one dies. Come 2016, she helps the ghost but then gets stuck in a time loop somehow? This is where things get fuzzy for me. Why is 2016 repeating itself? And how does the handsome guy who looks like he belongs in BTS fit with everything? And, in the end, is the main character just stuck in the ghost world or does she just move to the afterlife, and where does handsome guy go? I only got the good ending I think where everyone is in the brightly lite world but I know there’s a bad one where no one escapes and a secret one with the womb still alive but I’m trying to understand the canon story.

You were somewhat right about what happens.

In 2012, HsinChao and her friends went to the bridge under similar circumstances as the 'current' group did and 5 of them died. HsinChao survived by promising to bring new sacrifices every year.

In 2016, the group of characters we play as in the game are the next collection of sacrifices. What ends up happening however is that she can't bring herself to let Decyuan die and thus she takes his place. Decyuan is now the new one to bring in the sacrifices.

During this, his friends are all stuck in an endless loop of the same night, where they keep dying. Decyuan tries to subtly solve the curse by doing small things that wouldn't be noticed by the ghost. If you pay attention to him and his lines, it becomes a bit more clear that he's repeating everything.

I don't fully understand it myself, but because of Decyuan's actions in the real world and HsinChao's hard work in the curse/nightmare world, the curse is lifted and HsinChao and the others will get to pass on in peace while Decyuan goes back to the real world as the only survivor.

I might not be completely right or right at all, but this is what I got from it at least.

That sounds like it makes a lot more sense. Though it raised one question: how does Decyuan get to the loop world?

It's because he's the next person to gather the sacrifices. The loop is what happens to all of them. Not sure how it happens, maybe it happens everytime they sleep, maybe it happens randomly, but from both the movie and game, we know that they are forced to loop this hell.

Does anyone know the story about the secret ending with the fetus/baby if you get ALL achievements on steam? It was never commented on in the second game and I don't know if its a "CANON" ending or if it was just thrown in the end game credits as a "Easter egg" or something.
