Camera angles
ok we seriously need camera angles that let us turn 90 degrees instead of only 180, there are too many times where i cant see in certain spots because both angles are blocked because a building is in the way of a camera, also it would be nice if the camera could either like adjust so its in front of some further away obstacles or like render a circle around you that shows your character and some immdeiate surroundings

I also agree that it would be nice to have more camera angles. Adding more angles would require more sprites (the graphic, not the player's helper created from the kennelsprite) for the 2D-looking objects, however, so I don't think it'll added anytime soon.

Something else to consider is an optional first-person mode. One Steam player had the game switch to first-person as a glitch that also removed the controls, but I think it could work as a feature as well if the controls were functional. I imagine with a projectile weapon that the game would resemble an old-school first-person shooter, which isn't entirely a bad thing. Adding a first-person mode would also make navigating small rooms easier, especially since objects behind a wall from the camera's point-of-view can be invisible while still being interactive.

i mean i guess i never considered that, cause from at least what i thought i knew, if most objects in the game are 3d models they can already be viewed from all angles, but i thought that you wouldnt need to make new sprites for floor items, as they are like png images so they always face the camera, unless im mistaken. I do hope i wasnt like too hostile in the way i worded the post, i enjoy the game, i was just beaten down by some issues i had been running into, but this game is an honestly impressive achievement from PGT, and i look forward to how this game shapes up

I thought for a moment that the 2D-looking objects turned around like the protagonist does when the camera turns. After checking the game, I was the mistaken one.

(To be clear, I call them 2D-looking because you can stack them. They may not have much of a 3rd dimension, but something tells me that they have 3D collision at least. They certainly use flat images for their appearance, however.)

You sound more frustrated than outright hostile to me. To me, frustration is fair enough. The game needs work not only in the form of adding new content, but also in the form of bug fixes and perfecting pre-existing features. The game has a lot of potential for a proper Sburb simulator, but it's clearly a work in progress.

yea definitely, they're doing the olden days of 3d like doom, where in reality its just all pngs that always face the player screen, but have a 3d collision, the only difference being they dont need to make sprites for each possible angle other than head on, and yea this is a definite WIP thing, but i absolutely love to death that the devs are bringing sburb to life

heres to hoping options to make your character a troll come soon, granted of course that comes with balancing any of the troll caste traits like psiioniics or chucklevoodoos, but at the very least it would be nice to make my troll ocs in the game :3

The creators of this game's official stance on adding trolls is on their official website here - https://www.sburb.me/faq/.
"Q: Will the game have Trolls/Prospit/Derse etc.?
A: Yes, but since the game will still make sense without them, we will not focus on it until the more vital parts of the game are done (i.e. it can be won). There is a Troll expansion planned for after we have a full release of the game ready. We don’t want to just do a player character reskin and call it a day, we want to release entire new maps, items and such. The base game is shipping with humans only."

While the creators of the game don't want to do simple recolor, modders, on the other hand, have no such restriction. I wouldn't be surprized if a Troll mod is eventually made once the game is mostly stable. As you mentioned, however, stuff like the trolls' special abilities will take longer than making the characters looks like trolls.
