I had to set the TurboPower settings in the BIOS to "Intel PL" or "Intel Default" - a manual limit of 253Watts for maximum CPU power wasn't enough in my case, but I was able to play for about 10 minutes even with the manual reduction of watts until I crashed. With the Intel Power Limit I haven't had any crashes since.
its not a core i9 thing, its an Intel 13 and 14th gen thing.
