Upscaling through gamescope on Linux

I only looking a few pages back in the discussions but I couldn't find anything about it. If you're running Space Empires IV or other game hardcoded to a lower resolution you can on Linux use gamescope to upscale it.

-w -h are original resolution
-W -H are upscaled resolution, I went with x2.5

-F fsr AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0 for upscaling
-F nis NVIDIA Image Scaling v1.0.3 for upscaling

-r 30 frame-rate limit

-f For full-screen


I run the game with this to upscale it from 800x600 to 2000x1500

gamescope -w 800 -h 600 -W 2000 -H 1500 -F fsr -r 30 -- %command%
