I also suspect that bonding with her is a key to a good ending.
I guess she's one of these characters where it's up to you to take the first step towards friendship, and she'll respond in kind once she's not so wary.
But obviously, your opinion is also valid, and it's up to you if you try and befriend her to see a different side of her!
Tabatha is the epitome of showing someone zero respect. Because it's just a video game and not real life, I would absolutely kill her if the devs gave that as an option.
This event & the achievement itself I thought was quite hilarious I'll admit. Matter of fact a lot of the achievements I think are extremely funny; the dev is doing a great job on that.
Tabby's controlling at the start, sure, which isn't necessarily strange given the circumstances. She's fine once she trusts / likes the MC. Very protective that's for sure - but the thing she basically asks from her cousin is to avoid danger. She tends to get very easily worried about them.
She generally respects the MC's choices and decisions, even if she can be grumpy about some of them
I guess you're sort of stuck in a loop where you don't like her and how she acts with the MC because you're not close enough to her in your playthrough, but you can't get yourself to get closer to her because you don't like her haha
With that being said, it just so happens that my MC is EXTREMELY trusting - and I mean, to an excess, and of almost everyone. He basically prefers to give his trust and have it betrayed than doubt as a means of prevention. Yeah, not necessarily as smart choice, given the context, but he's an extremely pure boy!
So I guess it's easy to keep secrets from him without even trying, and as a player I certainly see less things since my character doesn't necessarily try to notice them.
she is very negative, BUT if you do the things she tells you not to (go into the mine, save Alexis and Becka, then vanquish Charlie Jr.), then Tabby begins respecting your decisions, whereas if you act as her minion, she treats you like crap for not making your own choices. If you choose to call her at Reese's in ep. 4 after bonding with her, you see a very different Tabitha vs if you ignored her or were just as negative back at her.
We don't know all the details, but she and Wayne were very close, and that didn't seem to turn out the way Tabby wanted, she's isolating herself for protection, being abrasive keeps people away so she can't get hurt. if you invest a little time with her, you begin to see a change.
