Has Dr. Kelly always been romanceable?

I haven't played the game since last year, and last night was the first time I notice could flirt with her and I don't know how it happened? because I outright said she's poisoning her son on last night's dinner, before then jumping to flirting with her the next day after turning old LMAO

I picked Street Smart and Talk to Animals, though I doubt it's because of that. But I remember there was no option for flirting with her before this update even after I sacrifice myself, unless I just missed them somehow

If you go through the trial in the haunted library by giving up years of your life you are now old enough for her. If you have the strong trait she likes you more too I've noticed. It doesn't go very far but that appears to be the route if you want to go there.

No, Dr. Kelly was not originally romance-able prior to the updated change and until we get more chapters you are very limited in how far you can pursue a romance with her.

IIRC you have to have the "hot" trait and be aged up in chapter 3 in order to successfully romance her

You don't need the hot trait now iirc, you just need to be old for her.
