woods, Mine, library, hospital, then (in no particular order) Tremaine house, Scarlet Manor, church (I suspect the church might be last due to the funeral being held there, but the manor does seem the more appropriate choice).
The Ditchlings appear (so far anyway) to be a combination of the goblins and mothman; Reese is definitely the amalgamation of the Jersey devil and the tommy knockers seem to be the most true to form straight from the myth.
Not really sure about Charlie Jr. the bell witch does appear to be the closest correlation though. Julius appears to be forming up to be similar to the Tailypo, but I still think it may closer resemble the colour out of space story or with Big Betty's disappearance maybe a form of the ginseng babies.
the pastor and church will probably look like the rats in the walls story.
It seems it MIGHT be The Manor itself considering how Wayne goads you into going there stating "Tabitha is going to be busy" but it also could be just a little bit of exploration before we go to the Church and it's fields.
The animation we see at the end of Chapter 1 actually does seem to be foreshadowing the future investigations and plot points:
The Woods
The Abandoned Mine,
Town Hall
The Clinic
A Room in the Manor(?)
The Church's land
Tremaine's Farm
The Scarlet Mine
And finally, the mysterious figure in the Manor (along with the damned locked door).
There is also the Tea room (bewween Clinic and Church), Sybil mayhaps?
What's likely going to happen is that we either.
A) Explore bits of the forbidden wings of the manor before going to the church.
B)The room shown after the clinic isn't the manor and we will go to the church.
Both do lead to an interesting outcome, if this is correct then in theory we will have 8 or 9 chapters (let's say the "Room in the Manor" is not true and we go to the church), this means we WILL HAVE A CHAPTER WHERE SKILLS WON'T SAVE US, I could be wrong ofc though.
i mean if anything we're already got our spiritual guardian--ehem, wayne--and how the mine collapse in ep 2 works (rock falls can completely shut off cave or fall just right behind you, weird) it seems like something's and someone is protecting us from early death
also mystical trait is possibly the last trait to go, maybe mystical's magic and mind defense could resist/control whatever it is that will fall upon us
and maybe vivian has a similar situation like dr. kelly's (except that we're definitely not turning into a beast and our mom isn't seduced by one)
i don't know, I'm just throwing this out here
can't wait for episode 5 to release and see it for myself!
But we have seen 2 out of the 3 so far in the game (ie Shaw and Reese)...but we haven't seen a demon yet...so possibly the Pastor is the demon? Or perhaps the Demon is whatever Enoch's dad made a deal with to get his fortune...
The devs hinted at this previously where drinking the tea may actually be beneficial in the long run, as you have been trying to resist the effects and become stronger for it, whereas if you don't, it will put you at a disadvantage when facing her at the end game episode. The devs have already stated Sybil's mystical attribute IS far stronger than your's.
Although personally I'd still take the chance on not being susceptible to her suggestions and refusing the tea.
