That being said, Speak with Animals is probably the one that makes the game the most different. With Mystic you can understand ditchlings which is really cool.
Part 1 : Strength
Part 2 : Perception
Part 3 : Book Smart
Part 4 : Hot
Not necessarily, both can live, but without HOT as a trait, Reese will be kept as a prisoner by his mother to protect the town from him, and him from the town.
wow...that's it? Kinda lackluster decision for Hot trait. Keep one guy from blowing his head off and saving the sweet dog, prevent a girl from losing her foot and the lives of 2 other kids, prevent yourself and your cousin from being unjustly aged, or...protect a sickly emo monster. Guess trait is not the one to take. You just get to sleep with Stella, but not have sex with her. Meh.
Thanks for the info though, I appreciate it.
Doesn't it make some other conversations and dialogue options easier? All the traits have uses outside of the critical decisions.
Yes drinking ANY tea in the hollow appears to prevent your character from realizing certain facts and information, especially around Sybil. you can still refuse tea at the various points, as so far the info you get any of the times is pretty minimal to useless. its just easier to resist or get rid of it with various traits.
The HOT trait makes any romance option easier., its just "most" useful in the last chapter, as each chapter has a trait that solves the critical choice for that part of the story.
you can escape the library and prevent either you or Tabitha from being aged, but the specter will remain in the library and the family will have to move to the old maxwell place. there are plenty of options in the game's story but the "best" resolutions are typically due to a trait.
except for the first chapter there seems to be a way to get the "second best" outcome without the use of a trait, at least so far anyway.
